I'll get this category (and indeed, this topic) started off by posting my current list:

(in no particular order)...

1. The Godfather series
2. Goodfellas
3. Raging Bull
4. Trainspotting
5. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
6. To Kill A Mockingbird
7. Jules and Jim
8. Rashamon
9. Citizen Kane
10. Schindler's List

Thoughts?

What a lovely topic...
I guess...(no order)..here goes:

-Life is Beautiful (original Italian version)
-Die Hard (mostly cause I'd love to lick the sweaty bloody body of Bruce Willis)
-The Princess Bride
-Mother
-Braveheart (i LOVE revenge movies)
-High Noon (yes, I am a woman)
-So I married an Axe Murderer (I quote this movie ALL the time)
-Like Water for Chocolate (original Spanish version-based on a GREAT (but, chicky) book)
-Old School
-Indiana Jones (any of 'em)...

There are other "tops"..but, they're mostly girly and I'll spare you all the details! Laughing

"I'm so evil it should be pronounced 'eee-villll'...like 'the froo-its of the de-vill'!!!"

"Oh, no...I've done it now...now he's going to cry himself to sleep on his huge pillow..."

"Excuse me, Miss? I believe I ordered the large cappucino...hello..."

"Sir...I need to commandeer your vehicle..." "No..."

"It's like a grapefruit on a toothpick! It's like Sputnik...roughly spherical but pointy in parts..."

Ahhh...those halcyon days when Mike Meyers was funny...how I miss 'em...

Good choice, Panda! One of the funniest and most underrated movies ever...

Four of the five of those I use at least weekly..one of them (the e-vil, like the fru-its of the de-vil)..I use that daily. I don't even say the world "evil" correctly anymore.
Sad.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who appreciated that movie!

Some good ones there, prnja...

12 Monkeys, in particular, is a favorite of mine. But American Wedding? Really?
Wink
Girl Interrupted contains my two favorite women on the planet (aside from my beautiful wife, of course)...Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie.

mmmmm...Ryder-Jolie-riffic...

The Big Lebowski! Hooray for The Dude!

My favorite lines from that flick:
"You do NOT fuck with the jesus!"

"Shut the fuck up, Donnie. Shut up. Donnie shut the FUCK UP!"
(John Goodman's delivery in that movie is just perfect)

Nice list, unas.
