Hi, Im new my name is David L Tamarin. I write horror, extreme, bizarre, surreal and erotica fiction, as well as doing some film reviews, book reviews, interviews, articles. I write horror reviews for Wicked Karnival, the ezine of the Carnival of Wicked Writers (you are all invited to join, just tell them I sent you), and horror reviews for a new online zine called Graveyard Shift.
I have an article appearing in the upcoming premiere issue of Red Scream magazine about Extreme Asian cinema, as well as a twisted short story.

I HATE HATE HATE pg-13 CGI-filled big budget hollywood remakes of classsic horror films and I love real blood splatter, I don't like CGI blood.

If I had to pick a favorite movie it would probably be Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. I love Cronenberg, Lynch, Miike, serial killer films, Tarantino, giallos, extreme Asia, Ruggero Deodato, snuff-related movies.

The best horror films I have seen recently: Love Object, May, Ginger Snaps 3, Paranoia 1.0, The Eye, Hillside Strangler, Night Stalker, Texas Chainsaw remake, ENtrials of a virgin, living hell, evil dead trap, wrong turn and house of 1000 Corpses.

I can't wait for The Devil's Rejects, it will kick ass.

The worst horror movie ever was American Werewolf in Paris.

Well, that's me, and if you ever read my fiction be sure you are sitting down and close to a barf bag. I want to make my readers vomit and get heart attacks.

Thanks, I was reading the new Rue Morgue this morning, the one with The Manson Family movie on the cover, and I saw the atrocities cinema ad, which happened to be on a page about Dario Argento- cool.

I haven't gotten my goddamned copy yet!

Grrr....

Glad it looked ok, though.

So, they put it on a page with Dario Argento! Awesome!

...happy puppy...indeed...

Actually, Rue Morgue sent me a mint copy of the issue...I received it yesterday. Woo hoo! My ad looks better than I could have hoped, and the fact that it's on the same page as an Argento-themed feature is just the icing on the proverbial cake. Mucho cool. Now, we'll just see what kind of impact the ad has.

Oh, one more thing...I don't know how many of you read Rue Morgue from cover to cover (like I do), but I wanted to bring something to your attention. In the "post crypt" section (the letters to the editor), there's a letter from someone whose "name and address was withheld". It's about the "Living Hell" dvd review they featured in issue 42. Anyway, that letter is mine. It's from me. Bummer about the "name and address withheld" thing, though...I don't seem to remember withholding any information from them when I sent the email. Hmmmm...
Whatever...to those who are keeping score on this stuff, issue 43 has two pieces of input from me...the ad and the letter.

Yay! My nipples are all hard!

My how things change over time. I got banned from the Carnival of Wicked writers for offending someone who advertised there. This person is very religious and didn't like my suggestion that we re-name Christmas into National Porn Day.
as for the extreme asian cinema article- never printed, and as to the publication, red what? is that thing still in print?
And graveyard shift has been defunct for about two years.

holy shit I haven't posted here in like 2 years, how is everybody doing?
If I could reccommend one movie, it is a French film called INSIDE, it is one of those Dimension Extreme (?) films. It is really violent, intense, hardcore, uncompromising, and totally shocking.

I also really enjoyed William Friedkin's newest horror film BUG, it is way creepy with a really twisted downbeat ending.
