Haven't seen it yet. I wanted to see it in the theatres when it was out, but it looks pretty decent.
I'm going to get it in the first half of February and review it...I'm trying to secure an advance copy...I'll let you all know.

I'll say, however, that from what I understand, the comparisons to "Se7en" are completely unwarranted. Supposedly, this has much more in common with Argento's early work (and in particular, Deep Red) than any other given mainstream US horror flick of the last, say, 10 years or so.
I'll reserve further comment until I can actually see this thing...
I have to say I'm looking forward to it, though.

Hey Dominic, I saw Saw in theaters over here and I gotta tell you it wasn't what I expected. The film itself is shot very dark and the score isn't too bad either. Cary Elwes plays a doctor but, in my opinion, he seemed a little out of his depth. He just overacts a little too much for me. All in all though there are enough twists and turns to keep you watching till the end.

Well, my screener fell through, so it seems...
So, I'll have to wait to review "Saw" until it comes out on DVD in February.
If something changes, I'll let ya know...

Well last night i saw SAW (screener Laughing )

and i must say its a pretty nice flick! good acting (except for the cry baby on the end) nice visuals and a nice (pretty easy) story!
There are some great scenes! e.g. when (i forgot his name) checks his house only with a camera flashlight.. Creapy...
and offcourse the puzzles!

anyway i definatly recommend it to you guys!

Awww...goddammit! I wanted to see this, too...

Like I said, my screener fell through, so I have to friggin wait until it comes out to buy/watch/review it!

I'm looking forward to it, though...

My review will be forthcoming!

yeah the screener was pretty nice.. although i will go and buy this flick (i hate it when all of the sudden the screen turns black and white and the (BIG) line"Courtesy of lion gates film" comes on screen..)
